My Client is a UK based manufacturing consultancy looking to strengthen its office based marketing and sales team with the appointment of a Sales and Marketing Person. Initially the role is about generating new work and sales through direct sales of training course and seminar places and by generating quality field sales appointments. They work in all manufacturing sectors with particular expertise in the food industry, print, packaging and plastics.

There is potential for the right candidate to develop into a business development manager taking over a share of the responsibility for sales strategy and business growth.
Basic salary: £18,000 per year (full time basis) plus commission
Year 1 on target commission: £12,000 per annum (uncapped)
There is potential for the salary to grow in proportion to the role and results.
Details of the role:
·         To generate training course and seminar bookings, consultancy leads and other related sales and leads via telephone contact to potential customers
·         To build relationships with potential customers
·         To coordinate & implement marketing/sales strategies
·         Can be full-time or part-time to suit the candidate (minimum hours 20 per week)
·         Working hours to suit candidate
The candidate:
·         Results driven
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Likely to be graduate background
·         Confident in dealing with customers
·         Ideally should have experience in B2B role
·         Essential to have direct sales experience including telephone sales of at least 2 years
·         Experience of generating marketing materials and marketing campaigns
